The drink tastes very special. To me, it mixed the environment of East and atmosphere of West vey well. There aren’t many people at night, so you can have a very great time with your friends. Just few of you can have a nice deep talk. Or a group of you can have a party in a special room.

The staff are incredibly friendly and mellow, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the selection of teas is excellent. They also host a great range of events from punk rock shows to story telling and open mic poetry events. If you're looking for community in Ithaca, this is a great place to start. And if you're not looking for community in Ithaca, this is a great place to do that as well.

We were expecting a coffee/tea shop, and had no prior experience with Kava. John, the cool guy behind the bar, introduced us to the culture and the proper Kava drinking etiquette. Prices are reasonable for what it is and the experience. Lots of space that is used for events, social gatherings, etc. On the day we went (Saturday) there weren't any events listed, but a decent gathering showed up. Great place to chill out and mingle. Side note: I strongly recommend dudes to not use the restroom here... Only if you're desperate...

Awesome music venue and sober bar. Lots of interesting teas and seltzers. They used to sell an interesting Kava drink, but the bureaucrats in the state shut it down for some reason. Maybe they can bring it back some day. Anyway, aside from lots of unique beverages, this is an amazing place to see live music. Check out the shows playing there because it's very eclectic, so you can probably find something cool most nights!

I love this place! It has great atmosphere, music, art, special events, a dance floor, Kava in flavors and great organic teas and tasty treats. The owners are awesome and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend a visit, especially if you enjoy eclectic, artsy places with a cozy atmosphere.

I was traveling through Ithaca and a friend of mine suggested I stop in here. I’m glad I did! It was a very quiet Thursday evening, so I spent a lot of the time speaking with one of the owners who was working behind the bar. He was super knowledgeable about kava and I asked a lot of questions! He also gave some good insights about Ithaca as a town, which was helpful as a visitor. My first time trying kava ended up being a great, hospitable, and relaxed experience…which seemed like the way it should be. The place has a chill, hippy lounge vibe that works. Whether you live in Ithaca, or are just traveling through, check this place out :)

We had a really fantastic experience here. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on our first experience with kava. The whole place has a chill vibe and he had a drink with us on our first try too. Highly recommended, we would revisit this place next time we're in Ithaca. Boola!

I love this place! Its a truly hidden gem and my wish is that everyone discovers it, and loves it as much as I do. Kindness, love, dancing, music, art and a large selection of teas and coffee is what my experience was made of and it was glorious. Check it out!! Live music isnt an every day thing tho. But everything else is in abundance on the reg.
